Eastern shore baseball[edit]

I have a baseball uniform I need information about 2604:2D80:9A90:F100:7CD9:DDF3:DEFB:6682 (talk) 15:46, 20 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Milford Team Name[edit]

I can find several citations in newspapers from 1923 that the Milford team was named the "Sandsnipers", but I cannot find a single source that says "Sandpipers" as they are noted in the wiki. Baseball Reference has the Sandpipers as the name, but reputable papers of the time like The Evening Journal in Wilmington, Delaware and The Baltimore Sun make several references to Sandsnipers and none to Sandpipers. Good information and references. You could possibly make note of the alternate name on the Milford team page that is linked on this page. Ex: "The 1923 Milford team is also referred to as the --- in local newspapers from the era." Skilgis1900 (talk) 00:54, 21 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
