I think some discussion should be put to the fact that the articles cites the US News and World Reports on music which were discontinued due to the fact that the rankings were widely viewed as being inaccurate and based solely upon faculty evaluations.

Non-neutral POV

The intro paragraph needs a major makeover.

"among the most prestigious music institutions in the world" "Centrally located downtown" "metropolitan city of Rochester" "achieved international prominence" "commitment to the highest standards of musical leadership and excellence"

While I appreciate the PR department at Eastman and their hard work in creating this page, I think enough is enough. There has to be a line drawn somewhere between encyclopedic entry, and something that belongs more in a Viewbook for Prospective Students! Don't anybody agree? College Rankings

It appears this information is drawn from the college website as well as statemaster.com's listing for the college. The U.S. News and World Report college rankings are available here, but require membership to get to the earlier rankings cited in the article.--Boweneer (talk) 21:59, 21 September 2009 (UTC)
