Concentration

The intro text says that Eau de toilette is weaker than Cologne, but the 'chart' of concentrations lists Cologne as the weaker concentration. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.52.110.205 (talk) 03:18, 22 February 2011 (UTC)

I agree, this statement does not make any sense at all. Maybe the author distinguishes between "cologne" (= fragrance for men) and "Eau de cologne", but even in this case the statement that "Eau de toilette is weaker than cologne" makes no sense since "colognes" are almost always "Eau de toilette". This is also inconsistent with the listings under Perfume#Concentration. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 174.79.166.235 (talk) 20:18, 29 November 2011 (UTC)
I've clarified this in lede as this was rather confusingly worded and didn't seem to reflect current approaches in the perfume industry. Eau de toilette is stronger than eau de cologne and weaker than eau de parfum – in other words, somewhere in the middle. Libby norman (talk) 17:56, 27 July 2014 (UTC)
