Nomination for Version 0.7[edit]

This looks like a fairly nice article, and it would make a nice supplement to a very important article, Taiwan. However, my impression is that the article is only around C-Class with the new definitions - it really needs more thorough sourcing before it can meet the current B-Class standards (though it would have met the old standards). (Compare Taiwan after World War II, ranked as Start, though it is also at least C, I'd say). I'd also say that the modern period should be (IMHO) covered more extensively; along with South Korea and Japan, the island provides one of the most remarkable economic success stories of the late C20th - deserving of more coverage than currently present.

Also, the no. of hits (about 740/month) is much lower than most we include. There is little that can be done about no. of hits, but I think if it can at least be brought up to a really strong B-Class we should be able to include this article. Walkerma (talk) 05:27, 1 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Economic history of Tawain (1949-present)[edit]

Economic history of Taiwan (1949–present) redirects here. So Economic history of the Republic of China (1949–present) & Economic history of the Republic of China (1949-present) & Economic history of Taiwan (1949-present) should also redirect here. -- 65.92.180.137 (talk) 07:41, 23 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Alternately, it can be split off into a separate article, for the economic history of X by country articles. -- 65.92.180.137 (talk) 07:42, 23 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
