Tourism?[edit]

Is there any information on tourism in Bhutan? The main article (Bhutan) refers the reader to this page but tourism is barely mentioned here. There must be some stats on this. Liz ^{Read! Talk!} 14:27, 7 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Bhutanese Conglomorates[edit]

@Russavia, ChrisGualtieri, and Closedmouth: This article should include a section on the Bhutanese groups of companies such as the Tashi Group, Lhaki group, Singye Group, and Zimdra Industries. These few large companies with their many subsidiaries dominate much of the Bhutanese economy.

An Issue[edit]

In the top of the article, there are some lines:

Each economic program takes into account the government's desire to protect the country's environment and cultural traditions. For example, the government, in its cautious expansion of the tourist sector, encourages visits by upscale, environmentally conscientious tourists. Detailed controls and uncertain policies in areas such as industrial licensing, trade, labour, and finance continue to hamper foreign investment.
