Merger with main Mauritania article[edit]

It seems to me that it would make more sense to merge this article with the Mauritania article rather than having the two seperated.

Not at all. Every country has an economy article. This allows more precise categorisation of the content. CalJW 15:29, 9 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I wasn't aware of that, but someone informed me on the Mauritania Talk page. So far the consensus there page seems to be that it would be appropriate to add a short overview of the economy to the Mauritania page. scotsboyuk 20:15, 9 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

ITC external link on trade data[edit]

Hello everyone, I am working for the International Trade Centre (ITC). I would like to propose the addition of an external link that could lead directly to the specific country’s trade data held by ITC. I would like you to consider this link under the WP:ELYES #3 prescriptions. Moreover, the reliability and the pertinence of this link can be supported by the following facts 1) ITC is part of the United Nations 2) No registration is required 3) Trade data (imports/exports) are regularly updated 4) The link gives direct access to the trade database of the specific country 5) The addition of reliable trade data to the Economy section of the country could provide an appropriate contribution to the information therein contained. Thank you for your attention.Divoc (talk) 13:29, 20 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Coordinates[edit]

This page wears coordinates. I think it shouldn't be geolocated.--Pere prlpz (talk) 21:15, 20 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
