This "folk poet" was affectionately known as "Eddie Guest." It is imperative that a redirect for "Eddie Guest" be created. Otherwise, most of the people who probably would want to look him up will be at a loss.Kdammers 06:19, 21 July 2005 (UTC)[reply]

I think the quality Lemony Snicket referred to are his overtly positive- verging on the optimistic- view on life and humanity in general which, while excellent in their origin, may certainly suggest a general lack of deeper consideration and further thought to the wirter. Image:EdgarAlbertGuest.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Edgar Guest → Edgar A. Guest – Although some RMs (Talk:Ben Wattenberg#Requested move 4 July 2017 or Talk:Lawrence Spivak#Requested move 22 June 2021) have successfully proposed deletion of the middle initial, pen names of authors known for using a middle initial, are depicted with the middle initial in English Wikipedia main title headers. Analogous to such names as Arthur C. Clarke, Ursula K. Le Guin, James A. Michener, Hunter S. Thompson or William T. Vollmann, Edgar A.
