Referencing the Article[edit]

I have done quite a bit of research on and in the vaults. I see that the article doesn't have any references and am willing to do a bit of work of this. A lot of the factual stuff (location etc.) can be sourced very easily to sound historical sources but would welcome some advice on what can be used for the more paranormal aspects of the article. For example, many eyewitness accounts have appeared in various places but I'm not sure what counts as a good enough source for inclusion here. Zeticulan (talk) 23:10, 23 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I changed the caption of the vault picture to 'Wine storage' since I assume 'Vine storage to be a typo. If this is a mistake, please correct my mess. --Hydraton31 (talk) 23:45, 5 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

George IV Bridge[edit]

Are there vaults under the George IV Bridge, also? 129.215.149.97 (talk) 16:33, 14 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, but they were built more recently, and were never abandoned. They form part of the properties along the bridge. Brianetta Brian Ronald, UK. Talk here 22:58, 28 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Raducanu[edit]

If anyone has access to a copy of Reid, Alisdair. Romania comes in from the cold, The Sunday Herald, November 5, 2006. or know where it can be found on the web then please could they let me know on my talk page. I'd like to verify it because I've played rugby with Raducanu, he's a good mate and even when we were playing in the mid-90s, he never said that he was "escaping the secret police". His situation was far more complex and, sad to say, it might still put him in danger if I were to tell it. This may be a classic "verifiable, not truth" situation but I'd like to check the source. Thanks. - Sitush (talk) 10:19, 10 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Ownership[edit]

Who is it that owns this property? If it was abandoned for 200 years is it under the public domain or does it revert to the above ground property holders? Or would it belong to those who excavated it? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.130.73.107 (talk) 03:44, 20 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Delete or rename the 'Paranormal reports' section?[edit]

Since when does an encyclopedia cover the paranormal as if it were real? Surely this should be in a 'media references' section rather than suggesting the paranormal is a proper category of analysis? I assume it is there to publicise the TV programmes & celebrity. — Preceding unsigned comment added by SandJ-on-WP (talkcontribs) 18:53, 5 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
