Author bona fides[edit]

The author of the UPI article cited maintaining DeBartolo's transfer of control of the San Franciso 49ers to his sister Diane York in 2000 in return for other parts of the family business was voluntary is Ira Miller, described there as "an award-winning sportswriter who has covered the National Football League for more than four decades and is a member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame Selection Committee". 71.233.84.208 (talk) 13:44, 31 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

POV[edit]

I just came across this article... It's a hagiography. It needs a rewrite, possibly too to bottom. His conviction needs to be in the lead. – Muboshgu (talk) 04:47, 19 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]
