Answer[edit]

The article is wrong. This newspaper is still circulating and never stopped its publication on Sep. 15th, 2014; and therefore it is not a defunct newspaper. You can check this in the newspaper website (www.elimpulso.com).

Its website may be active but its print version went defunct as you may see from the refs given and also, from this link; Shortages Shut Down Venezuela's Oldest Newspaper, El Impulso. --Egeymi (talk) 22:12, 9 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
