I made the edit on Wikimedia, but the image says it is sourced to the United States Army. It is sourced to Alpha Epsilon Pi fraternity. Here is a link to the Alpha Epsilon Pi website with Elan Carr's official AEPi portrait. Thanks. 65.220.10.3 (talk) 14:19, 4 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

RfC: The endorsements make this an advertisement page[edit]

The following discussion is an archived record of a request for comment. Please do not modify it. No further edits should be made to this discussion. A summary of the conclusions reached follows.
There is consensus that the endorsements make the article an advertisement. AlbinoFerret 21:34, 18 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Should the endorsements section be deleted? Eastwiki2434 (talk) 21:18, 7 October 2015 (UTC)eastwiki2434[reply]

  • Summoned by bot. The answer is yes in that it does not deserve a separate section and any sourced endorsements can be merged somewhere else on this page. However, I wanted to point out that the purpose of RfCs is to settle disputes, and I see no active dispute underway over this rather poorly-sourced and promotional article. I don't see why you can't just edit the article per WP:BRD. Coretheapple (talk) 22:35, 11 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
  • Yes - The sections should be removed, especially since it is the longest paragraph on the page. No other related pages include an "Endorsements" section. Meatsgains (talk) 00:01, 17 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Threaded discussion[edit]

The article is a mess. I have tagged it for multiple issues. Coretheapple (talk) 22:40, 11 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

In response to your vote above, I too think we should close this RfC and simply remove the section. I didn't see any dispute and I can't imagine any users opposing its removal. Meatsgains (talk) 00:01, 17 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Summoned by bot. Cleaned up all self published and unsourced material. The article is now a stub, and material can be added only if supported by reliable secondary sources. - Cwobeel (talk) 04:37, 31 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
