3CX Acquisition[edit]

Some changes have been made to reflect the information in this article only applies to Elastix up to a certain version. This page needs to be refactored to reflect the new project path.

Comments[edit]

I'm just translating the article from a spanish version. Please, let me finish to translate the article.

The article objectively describes Elastix, an open source project and does not categorize the project as the "best" or "worst" product available. It does not even compare the project with other options to avoid any "propaganda".

Also, please take into account that the article does not use external links to advertise products but to include two main resources, the .org site and the freely available "Elastix without Tears" book written by a third party. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Elandivar (talkcontribs) 21:07, 17 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I think the Elastix article will be a good addition to Wikipedia. Just my thoughts.

I do not think that this article should be deleted, it is not advertising, and is objective.

I think that the article should mention that elastix installs "automatically" from an .iso file an no knowledge of linux is needed to install.

It would also be nice to add a list of the opensource components used, such as centos, asterisk, etc. As well as the versions. I could add that if its ok.

working state[edit]

Hey, what does working "state = equador" mean? -- jekader (talk) 05:59, 27 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Probably that someone doesn't understand what's supposed to be there. Fixed. nwatson (talk) 22:34, 18 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

CentOS Base[edit]

Why isn't it mentioned that this distribution is based on CentOS (and in turn based on RHEL)? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 173.26.205.253 (talk) 01:57, 8 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I'm new to Elastix and Asterisk, and I understand this page may not meet all the guidelines for independent existence, but it was extremely helpful to me. Didn't someone say 'Brevity is the soul of wit'? This page may not be the sort of page that inspires many links, but for me it did what I needed it to do, and I am grateful to those who went before me and left it for my instruction. Please save this page! InsertNameHere (talk) 18:05, 19 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Notability[edit]

User:Llameadrpc, an anonymous user has removed the template you added. There has been no discussion about it since December 2016. The argument given by that user seems to me bogus (I suppose Skype is used by more people. And no data was given to support it). I don't want to re-add it as I may be biased regarding this article.
