Untitled[edit]

This article is mostly about the "snipe hunt" prank. Nothing about the etymology, i.e. how elbows enter into it. "Elbow grease" is a common expression. but it makes no sense. This article is no help.77Mike77 (talk) 02:14, 10 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Practical joke?[edit]

To my knowledge, the term "elbow grease" has never been associated with any kind of practical joke, nor any type of humor at all. Additionally, nothing in the current text of the article even asserts these positions. Why, then, are the "Practical Jokes" and "Comedy Stubs" categories applied to it?

I'm going to go ahead and change the stub type to Vocabulary and Usage, but I leave it to others to address the Practical Jokes aspect. Dansiman (talk|Contribs) 17:47, 26 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
