Maximum speed[edit]

Moped-class scooters are often speed-limited in the U.S. and probably elsewhere, usually to 28 mph, regardless of whether they're electric or gasoline-powered. This includes the eMax and eMax Sport, the Lepton Oxygen, etc. There are some full-sized electric scooters, which are classified as motorcycles for insurance/registration purposes, that aren't speed-limited, and these include the Vectrix. Cleanup[edit]

Methinks this article could use some expansion and wiki-ization, considering it's half lists. I'll add it to my watch list and if I get some time soon, I'll try and add to the effort. Trappleton 00:35, 12 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Already exists[edit]

Doesn't this article already exist? The "Electric Scooter for Kids" section describes what is already at Electric kick scooter and the "Electric Scooter for Adults" section is at Electric motorcycles and scooters. Enj481216 (talk) 23:49, 4 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
