Hertz[edit]

Should be something on how part of Japan runs on 50hz, and part on 60hz... AnonMoos (talk) 23:30, 24 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Electricity distribution in Japan has now been created, and needs to be merged into this article. -- Chronulator (talk) 19:48, 26 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
The two file downloads that the map was made from are actually empty. Does anyone have the data? I'm particularly interested in the coordinates for the dividing line between 50 & 60hz so that I can make a world map of frequencies.Ben.doherty (talk) 01:29, 4 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

It'd be nice if this mentioned the wall plug voltage for the 50Hz and 60Hz regions (e.g. ~120V 50/60Hz, or 240V for 50Hz as it is in European countries). 72.48.75.131 (talk) 18:55, 7 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I haven't seen voltage differences mentioned, just frequency differences. AnonMoos (talk)
Mains_electricity#Standardization says supply is 100V. John a s (talk) 11:22, 5 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
