Which subject is this article about?[edit]

Is it about the mountain in Oxford County, or is it about the one in Piscataquis County? Everything seems to be all mixed up. Backspace (talk) 01:44, 31 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

All signs point to these series of edits [1] being a mistake, because the article is about the mountain in Oxford County. The peakbagger link and the coordinates verify this. I am putting in a request for an admin to delete Elephant Mountain (Oxford County, Maine) to make way for this article to be moved there. Elephant Mountain (Piscataquis County, Maine) → Elephant Mountain (Oxford County, Maine) — The content of the article is about the mountain in Oxford County, Maine and not the mountain in Piscataquis County, Maine. This edit [2], and this series of edits [3] were a mistake. The Elephant Mountain (Oxford County, Maine) article just redirects here, so I think that has to be deleted to make room for this page and the history to be moved. Cleanup[edit]

Someone needs to go through the incoming links to make sure that they are correct. I think the old article name may have confused some editors. But I don't know which is correct in most of the articles. Also, if possible, a stub for the other mountain should be created and added to the existing lists as appropriate.
