This page is wrong & bias as always with Wikipedia[edit]

Elisabeth Murdoch is An Australian citizenship FIRST. & British citizen & American citizen second.

Elisabeth was born in Australia ergo is Australian by birth. Also just like her siblings she & they retain Australian citizenship through right of abode. Just like her siblings she is Also Australian citizen because BOTH her parents are Australian… & both her grandparents are Australian.

I can hear all you crackhead saying “what Rupert Murdoch renounced his Australian citizenship in 1985.”

Yes.. but fact 1.

in 1985 Rupert Murdoch was required to surrender his Australian citizenship because Australia did not have dual nationality laws at that time. But Rupert Murdoch automatically regained his Australian citizenship in 2007 when Australia changed the citizenship act to allow dual nationality.

Fact 2.

Regardless of what Rupert Murdoch did back in 1985. It does not change the fact that Elisabeth Murdoch & her siblings MOTHER and grandparents, both paternal grandparents and maternal grandparents never surrendered their Australian citizenship. Ergo Elisabeth Murdoch & her siblings are all Australian via right of abode… or in her brothers case birth & or marriage.

Also to drill the point, Rupert Murdoch has been an Australian citizen since 2007. When he got back his citizenship after Australia changed the citizenship act to allow dual citizenship. 49.178.146.80 (talk) 17:17, 26 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
