Birth year[edit]

https://www.bfi.org.uk/films-tv-people/4ce2b9ee9794b says "Born: 6 May 1923, Glasgow", not 1921. Is there a more reliable source? Vincent Lefèvre (talk) 03:40, 2 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

The British Film Institute is a generally reliable source, and has since amended that page to reflect the year 1921, as also given in the BFI's tribute article footnoted in the Wikipedia article.--Tenebrae (talk) 19:43, 18 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
