I'm in the process of cleaning up this article and adding some new content. I've changed the first sentence to comply with Wikipedia's guidelines, as well as correcting some other sentence structures. What other issues are of concern with this article? Thanks for the feedback. Karen Joslin

It's looking pretty good to me. My only thing I would do before removing the "cleanup" tag is to put in some inline citations. For how to do that see Wikipedia:Footnotes. Cheers, Mak (talk) 23:00, 27 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Good content regarding her personal life that was in the article in 2007 has been removed. It is largely supported by the following webpage http://www.broadwayworld.com/article/Celebrating_Innovative_Women_of_Theater_Elizabeth_Swados_20050307 which is one of the external links. This is the disadvantage of adding external links instead of in line citations. Unsupported text is an open invitation to cut away the meat of an article, discard and leave only a skeleton. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 1archie99 (talkcontribs) 04:37, 30 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Updated career section with information about her 1984 musical play, The Beautiful Lady, a seminal work. Fixed formatting of Jerusalem in additional credits section. Msirt (talk) 15:53, 7 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

What is the source of the statement that Swados made guest appearances on multiple soap operas? It isn't cited in the article, and IMDB has no such guest appearances listed. She did write the music for a 1992 episode of One Life To Live, though. Reedmanwiki (talk) 14:33, 13 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
