GA review (see here for what the criteria are, and here for what they are not)
  1. It is reasonably well written.
a (prose): b (MoS for lead, layout, word choice, fiction, and lists):
The lead really isn't written in summary style. I wouldn't care overly much except it is very short. The information in the article should be summarized better in the lead. There are a few paragraphs that are one or two sentences and that seem like they could be linked better. For example? "Coleman lost in the first round of Olympic competition to Ivo Angelov of Bulgaria by a 3–1 score."
  1. I have expanded the lead and merged this short paragraph.--TonyTheTiger (T/C/BIO/WP:CHICAGO/WP:FOUR) 02:50, 14 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  1. Thanks. This is good then.--LauraHale (talk) 23:17, 16 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  1. It is factually accurate and verifiable.
a (references): b (citations to reliable sources): c (OR):
No plagiarism concerns. No OR. Facts support article.
  2. It is broad in its coverage.
    a (major aspects): b (focused):
"2012 Olympic American gymnast Gabby Douglas also became known for the nickname "Flying Squirrel". In an attempt to solidify his nickname while training in Colorado Springs, Coleman purchased a pet flying squirrel that he keeps in a cage and feeds apples. His Twitter handle is @daFlyinSquirrel." This seems like it would be better in another section because it seems out of place here. Twitter handle seems like it should be in the personal section. Can I get a confirmation that additional information doesn't exist on this guy? My access to USA sporting sources is limited and I'm not sure if more exists as a result. The article just looks very, very short for an article about a USA Olympian.
    This still needs work and/or confirmation.--LauraHale (talk) 23:17, 16 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
The only thing showing up in "Ellis Coleman" wrestling google news search is speculation that he may pursue an MMA career.--TonyTheTiger (T/C/BIO/WP:CHICAGO/WP:FOUR) 04:35, 18 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
    If I make this paragraph into a personal section it would be stubby.--TonyTheTiger (T/C/BIO/WP:CHICAGO/WP:FOUR) 04:35, 18 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Would it fit in the lead or the background section? --LauraHale (talk) 04:46, 18 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
The LEAD summarizes the main article so adding it to the LEAD would not help. The background section is not really right since it currently contains content regarding his life before becoming a world class wrestler.--TonyTheTiger (T/C/BIO/WP:CHICAGO/WP:FOUR) 07:56, 20 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  3. It follows the neutral point of view policy.
    Fair representation without bias:
Article is very short but the available text appears neutral.
  4. It is stable.
    No edit wars, etc.:
No edit wars. No rename proposals. No AfDs. Article is table.
  5. It is illustrated by images, where possible and appropriate.
a (images are tagged and non-free images have fair use rationales): b (appropriate use with suitable captions):
Can you confirm that you looked for images and none are available as none are present on the article?
None on commons. I will put in requests at Flickr.com for these two, but I don't expect the Team USA one to have any chance.--TonyTheTiger (T/C/BIO/WP:CHICAGO/WP:FOUR) 03:02, 14 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

    It is not looking for getting a picture.--TonyTheTiger (T/C/BIO/WP:CHICAGO/WP:FOUR) 04:38, 18 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
