References[edit]

Many references can be found in this Google News Archives search. They're all in Swedish but between the numbers of her birthday, death date, and age appearing often and the use of Google Translate, they're all about or at least make mention of her (Elsa Moberg). I have no idea if she's notable or not but I think it's at least a matter for an AfD and not a prod. OlYellerTalktome 00:04, 22 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Editing Confusion![edit]

In response to Olyeller21's reversion of my edit, well sorry, but the reference doesn't reference Moberg! As for the statement? Well, she died in 2001 so making a statement about HER in 2002 doesn't work + the wording is incorrect using "tenth oldest ever lived, at the time!" doesn't work! Maybe the statement intended to mean she was the world's 10th oldest living person at the time of her death? Either way, I would appreciate it if you would post here before reverting again! I'd rather not have a discussion until you calm down so please tone it down if you chose to reply. I only assume that you're not calm due to your liberal use of exclamations points.
I've invited Uzma Gamal to the discussion since you're suggesting that he lied when he added the reference.
MattSucci, just for clarity, how do you know that the information is not in the article. Did you check for yourself? Please remember that lying in regards to WP:V isn't taken lightly. I only say this because your first reason for reverting was that it was a "dead link" when no link has ever been present making your statement completely false. It also seems hard to believe that you verified the claim found in a 11 year old Australian newspaper in a matter of 8 hours.
I'll be at one of the largest and most highly rated libraries in the US tomorrow who also happens to have one of the largest newspaper archives in the world. I'll check tomorrow. I haven't been on a microfiche reader for around 15 years so it should be fun. OlYeller21Talktome 22:58, 13 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
My wording was wrong, I admit that, when I said link I meant ref'. As for the ref? Well, it's simply a link to the newspaper's wikipedia article, which obviously doesn't contain any info on Moberg. Whether the newpaper's website contains any info on Moberg? Who knows? I haven't trawled through it yet, nor will I for an article of such little value that I stumbled across by mistake!
