not correct emblem of Kazakhstan[edit]

Good day. Explain the reason for replacing the official image of the coat of arms of Kazakhstan with a mythical one that does not correspond to the image in life, is of low quality and does not meet the standard? https://www.akorda.kz/en/state_symbols/kazakhstan_emblem Returntoedenblr (talk) 13:19, 5 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@Returntoedenblr: you might be right, however svg versions are consistent with other countries' emblems. Maybe if you can propose to change it on Kazakhstan first, on the talk page, we may change it. Also this version is already listed below. Beshogur (talk) 15:14, 5 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I disagree that they "may be right" about anything. The official rendering goes against MOS:IMAGEQUALITY. I have no idea what the proposer means when they say the current one is "mythical", that it "does not correspond to the image in life" (images of emblems are not supposed to look real; should we add wrinkles to the flag as well?), or that it's "low quality and does not meet the standard" (it's a high quality SVG that meets Wikipedia's standards, i.e. MOS:IMAGEQUALITY). Once again:
- MOS:IMAGEQUALITY mentions official ones should be preferred
- this official render pic is not low quality (even if your MOS:IMAGEQUALITY argument was correct
- wrinkles has nothing to do with this; there's nothing about Kazakh flag here Beshogur (talk) 13:34, 5 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@Yue: [1] found something that this svg version was actually official from 2008 to 2014. See The second half of page 1 of the first quarter on the left side contains the image of the State Coat of Arms of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The State Coat of Arms of the Republic of Kazakhstan is 28 mm in diameter, in accordance with the State standard of the Republic of Kazakhstan ST RK 989-2008 " State Coat of Arms of the Republic of Kazakhstan, is in golden color.
