Cleanup[edit]

This article could use some cleanup. Things to do:

  • Reword the "how to" portions to be be more encyclopedic.
  • Remove some of the essay-like turns of phrase.
  • Build out detailed, illustrated articles on each class of stitches and link them in as "main" references as they are written.
  • Build a library of stitch illustrations in the Commons in category:embroidery stitches
  • Add illustrations. I would really like colored photos of a mixed-stitch sampler and a crewel-style embroidery made with many different stitches - if you can provide such a thing, please do! - PKM 22:16, 3 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

French Knot[edit]

I have deleted the unencyclopedic "how-to" content which may also contains personal references. It can be seen [1]. - PKM 17:16, 27 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
