Emmanuel Gomez has been a professional football player with Samger FC in Gambia, and there is a reference attesting to that on the player page as well as on the Toronto FC site, so how can it be asserted that he has never played professionally?

--from Toronto fc site...Toronto FC signed defender Emmanuel Gomez in March 2009. He was acquired from Samger Football Club of the Gambian National 1st Division.
