Vassal to Gengis Khan?[edit]

The main article about GK mentions ER as one of his first conquests after uniting the Mongols. "Despite initial difficulties in capturing Western Xia cities, Genghis Khan managed to force Emperor Renzong to submit to vassal status." Yet this is not covered in the main article. What a deeply unfortunate historical fact, for a relatively normal head of state for his day to neighbor the state of a top empire builder of all time. Wondering how that all worked out.
