Mols[edit]

The Empire State Games were initiated by Herbert Mols after experiencing the pageantry, competition and camaraderie of the 1971 Pan American Games and the 1972 Olympic Games as the Resident Manager of the US Men's Basketball team. He was the Executive Director of the Niagara AAU which encompassed much of Western New York. He had worked for years with other New York State AAU people and it was this group that supported the idea of a NY State Games using the format of the Olympic Games.

These seem to be reliable sources. If these were primary sources, I'd be more concerned as herbmols.com is a personal website. You can refer to WP:CITE on how to cite sources in an article.—Bagumba (talk) 21:59, 18 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
