Father's occupation[edit]

An earlier contributor has changed "miner" to "railwayman". Given the location in mid-Wales, this is a very reasonable suggestion (unless the mineral was gold), but Trowbridge (2010), supported by Dame Judi's and others' recollections, suggests miner.
