Why this version of the statue?[edit]

Something I don't understand...The original of the statue went from the Pac-Pacific Exposition to Visalia to Oklahoma City. Why does the disambiguation page point to this copy, and not the original in the Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum? Almostfm (talk) 03:55, 2 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Why was it notorious?[edit]

The text says that the statue, or its forerunner, gained notoriety at a public exhibition, but there is no explanation of why it was notorious. 09:51, 24 February 2017 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Alanobrien (talkcontribs)

Sudden stop, or wind blown?[edit]

The text says that the posture of the rider and horse is due to it coming to a sudden stop, but many pages I've read attribute it to being very windy. I think there should be a reference to the source of this explanation, particularly about being about to go over a precipice. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 202.183.101.44 (talk) 02:05, 23 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]
