Please provide a reference for this use of Enduro race. I can only find it in the context of motorcycle racing as in the article enduro. PDCook (talk) 19:36, 25 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Detail needed[edit]

I came to this page wondering how Enduro differs from standard racing and Demolition Derby but this article as it stands does not answer my questions.

  • The article claims that "often the fastest car is not the winner". How can this be?
  • How is the winner determined?
    • If the first to reach a certain distance / number of laps, how does it differ from standard racing?
    • If the last car to survive, how does it differ from Demoliton Derby?
  • "Over 50 miles" does not sound like a very long race. Why is this an impressive length?
  • What is the significance to removing the windows? Why is this important, and how does it compare to other racing styles?
  • Are there rules against "trick" strategies like not moving, or damaging opponents' cars?
  • What makes this type of racing "inexpensive" ?
