Fair use rationale for Image:Pyat rublei 1997.jpg[edit]
Image:Pyat rublei 1997.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. Removed 3rd paragraph pertaining to food prices[edit]
The source no longer existed, and thus this paragraph added nothing to the article, especially in consideration that was merely time-based speculation on a future event.
Who does this apply to?[edit]
The opening passage states: "as income rises, the proportion of income spent on food falls..." Who's income? Does this refer to individual income or a country's income, or some other group or class? Rkedge (talk) 12:44, 15 July 2019 (UTC)
- It applies to economic agents that act as final consumers. This includes all families and individuals. Essentially, it applies to everyone across every group. The more your income, the smaller the share of that income will be spent on food. For the rich and the poor both. 194.65.139.197 (talk) 16:49, 16 November 2023 (UTC)
