Well Done! It has taken me hours of wasted time. I wish that I had gone to Wiki in the first place. I noticed the difference when trying to find a headset for an ALCATEL TEXT mobile phone. It uses a mini-USB, and there followed a useless series of tries will adaptors, trying to get a configuration that works.

Incidently, has the author or any other found headsets or cable combinations that solve the mobile phone problem in assigning third party headphones? Armchair, 1202 hrs GMT , 9 Sept, 2010
