Mistake[edit]

I do not think that the figure provided in the article provides a visual of the epidemiological transition. The image illustrates the demographic transition theory. Otherwise, the article is very informative. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 162.129.248.5 (talk) 19:29, 25 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

In[edit]

"In those more economically developed countries more people die from degenerative diseases as those infectious diseases such as cholera and typhoid are easily treated causing more people to die from cancers as they live longer."

This sentence doesn't make sense, or rather it doesn't make for clear reading. Please change, author. Thank you very much for the article as well.

poor[edit]

The sentence makes sense but the article is very poor, will try and clean it up over the summer. Supposed (talk) 02:18, 27 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

References I can't figure out how to edit the refs bu the link is broken to the PDF where oman discusses epidemiological transition. the correct link is: http://www.milbank.org/uploads/documents/QuarterlyCentennialEdition/The%20Epidemiologic%20Trans.pdf — Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.238.92.70 (talk) 00:37, 16 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]
