Current Problems with article[edit]

Problems with article:

Needs to be organized under appropriate headings. Casual language leads to unscientific and doubtful feeling of article. Language can be altered to adhere to neutral point-of-view. No inlaid citations whatsoever. Discussing topics that should be placed in other articles; not expressly talking about Equality Feminism.

This article needs a serious facelift.

Lead section[edit]

The opening paragraph references Stanford University, in particular the section on "Liberal Feminism, or the Equality Approach", which states: It [Liberal Feminism, or the Equality Approach] has informed major legislation guaranteeing women equal rights, education, pay, and opportunity (in Europe the Amsterdam Treaty of 1999; in the U.S., the Equal Pay Act of 1963, Title IX of the Education Act Amendments of 1972, and the Equal Opportunity Employment Act of 1972). That is not the same as being able to offer it as a description of Equality Feminism, and the word "androgynous" is not mentioned anywhere on that webpage.

The second paragraph may well be accurate but it has no citation.

A total rewrite was done in October 2014 (diff) by Apridmo which is where these edits came in. It is the only set of edits Apridmo has ever done. --The Vintage Feminist (talk) 01:18, 25 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

The "Kinds of Feminism" and "Ethics of Care" cites also do not clearly support the statements made. They do not mention either equality and difference feminism explicitly, at the very least, but I also cannot find really relevant passages. --Florian Blaschke (talk) 18:50, 15 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Requesting copy edit help[edit]

Hi,

In draft namespace I created a new article relating to one of well known feminist Category:Catchphrases namely Draft:My body my choice (Feminism) to be included in category Category:Feminist terminology. It is far from complete and needs proactive copy edit support to include related remaining aspects.

Suggestions about suitable references are welcome on Draft talk:My body my choice (Feminism)

Thanks in advance. Warm regards
