Infobox[edit]

- Before yesterday the article used the Album infobox, and I switched it to the Song infobox for a reason that can be seen in the edit history. My opinion is that this item is not an album. But I concede that it's not A (one) song either. Ditching the infobox altogether might be viable. Also, I wonder if it would make more sense to transform this into an album article for The Summer I Couldn't Do Better, describing that the songs were previously released as the Era 1 project. ---DOOMSDAYER520 (TALK|CONTRIBS) 14:06, 10 May 2023 (UTC)
- Not entirely opposed, but I assume there's more coverage about 'Era 1' than 'The Summer I Couldn't Do Better', so not sure if WP:COMMONNAME applies. ---Another Believer (Talk) 14:33, 10 May 2023 (UTC)
- If so, then this item is not an album OR a song, so it should not have any infobox and the article should just describe the whole thing as an unconventional project. Note that I came to the article because it had appeared in the report Category:Album articles with non-standard infoboxes for using that infobox incorrectly. My solution was to switch to the Song infobox, but if that is also an incorrect usage of an infobox, I have no problem with being overruled. - Was confused about which infobox to use as well. The "closest" match would be a mixtape, like Clarity (Kim Petras album), although its release method really is unorthordox. Ditching the infobox altogether would be suitable. Putting an infobox for The Summer I Couldn't Do Better wouldn't make sense since that has received no coverage at all. - I went ahead and removed the infobox, based on this good-faith discussion. We had a "square peg in a round hole" challenge here, based on a limited selection of infobox types that don't really need to be forced into places where they don't fit.
