In the Kalmyk (alternative spelling: Kalmuk, Qalmaq, Calmouck etc.)language(mongolic group, altayic family) there is a word ЭРДМ[erdem].It means TALENT, GIFT, VIRTUE, CRAFTSMANSHIP. E.g.( a proverb) oрчлңг наарар гегәрдг, күн ЭРДМӘР гегәрдг [orçlıng naarar gegәrdik,kün ERDEMӘR gegәrdik].word for word translation: the universe is lit by the sun , a man is lit by ERDEM(talent,gift,virtue,craftsmanship) .
