The original James H. Schmitz paperback (1973) was titled 'The Eternal Frontiers'. The 2002 version edited by Eric Flint was titled "Eternal Frontier', without either leading 'The' or final 's'. Amazon has very helpfully co-mingled both versions (even though they contain similar but different text), so if you want to buy it, beware of which version you get:

Obsolete[edit]

The article is in dire need of an update. The phrase "now ten years later", as if 2012 is "now", says it all. It might be a bit premature, since only 14-15 months have passed since his death, but the fact that his publishing orgs have closed strongly suggests that the audience for this stuff is not growing. What publishing organisations? BAEN still sells his books. I see no sources saying the audience isn't growing. Doug Weller talk 15:59, 1 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
All of the online/forum/mentoring stuff like the Gazette, most likely, apparently literally everything he worked on but the books got summarily shut down days/weeks after Eric's death. I haven't looked into it too deeply cuz there's just nowhere to go and not much info out there, but what I've found indicates his best writing by far was online and free. at. 2001:569:BF37:1200:FD81:1799:897A:24F2 (talk) 04:48, 27 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Written by Baen employee?[edit]

This whole article pretty strongly comes across as promotional material for Baen, a VAST majority of the words used describe them in pretty flattering terms, not talk about Eric Flint's bibliography. There is a related flag on the "Electronic Publishing" section of his Wiki page, as well. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eric_Flint 2001:569:BF37:1200:FD81:1799:897A:24F2 (talk) 05:03, 27 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
