The Fonz?

Guitarists[edit]

The list of guitarists who use Ernie Ball strings is, by Wikipedia's standards, only 10% complete. Sort it out, someone! ;-) Matthew 13:15, 30 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Real name near birth date[edit]

Should his rael name be placed near his birth date in the first paragraph? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 84.32.130.211 (talk) 17:16, 29 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

"Ernie Ball has been stated as "The Greatest Guitar Player of All Time" from the likes of Tom Morello, Muddy Waters."? That's awesome! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.241.235.17 (talk) 01:54, 25 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Plays guitar?[edit]

Has Ernie Ball actually been stated as "The Greatest Guitar Player of All Time" from the likes of Tom Morello and Muddy Waters? Yes, yes he has. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 199.212.250.165 (talk) 16:01, 29 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Players[edit]

Where is Paul McCartney? He plays Ernie Ball. --123.2.142.50 (talk) 06:22, 29 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Interesting! If you read the long interview with Sir Paul at the beginning of Mark Lewisohn's "Complete Beatles' Recording Sessions", Macca says that when people ask him what kind of strings he uses, he answers 'Haven't a cue! Long shiny ones.'
I think he was having a shot at collectors and 'trainspotters' who so often are better at talking about guitars than actually playing them. 2001:44B8:3102:BB00:8C27:A291:160B:B177 (talk) 04:51, 26 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

James Burton[edit]

James Burton relationship to Ernie Ball should really be mentioned https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r84rOYDD30E — Preceding unsigned comment added by 14.201.187.128 (talk) 22:29, 31 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Need to separate biography from corporate activity[edit]

Ball died in the 2000s yet there's mention of a battle of the bands being started up in the 2010s. The activities of the Ernie Ball company would be better off in a separate article. 82.22.64.195 (talk) 20:39, 19 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
