Death[edit]

According to Shirer, in The Rise and Fall of the Third Reich, Torgler died under "protective custody" during the war. Perhaps he confused Torgler with Toller? Dove (talk) 03:22, 29 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

TROTSKY'S VIEW OF TORGLER[edit]

Torgler & Trotsky?

I have read somewhere that Trotsky would fly into a rage at the mention of then KPD Torgler's parliamentary activity before 1933. Trotsky would fly into a rage because Torgler could and would actually speak with the Nazi parliamentarians without flying into a rage!
