Outta context[edit]

Pkeets my friend, "Williamson has his own article (Yes)." This one is about Leginska (Yes)." "Her notability is not because he was her student (Yes), or because he was the student of someone else (Yes)." "Facts in the main part of the article should be about her (they are, but that's not necessarily mandatory)." The place where you put that info (after she died) is completely out of context, specially without a paragraph. If her teaching is being mentioned, there's absolutely nothing wrong mentioning Williamson or any other as her student (in the context). Let's see where you'll put that info. Expand the article, make it longer, but please don't subtract. Friendly, Krenakarore TK 18:41, 12 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for your comments. Please scroll down to the bottom of the article history and see who wrote it. The lead is not the appropriate place to put this statement, either, as the lead is supposed to summarize the content of the main article. One student hasn't the importance in her lifetime accomplishments to place it in such prominent positions with as much detail as you're choosing, and placing it at the end is perfectly appropriate. That links the articles, which is all that is really appropriate in this situation. If he were highly notable or didn't have his own article, it might be reasonable to hijack part of her article for a short bio on him, but he's just not that important as an add in. If you have a source that describes interesting or important details about their relationship, then by all means use it to expand the article. Pkeets (talk) 20:00, 12 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Much better, thanks. Sorry to hear your sacral region hurts. Pkeets (talk) 23:15, 12 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I really don't mind when people come to the articles that I create to better them by adding, balancing, caring for, but I do mind when people appear to change six to half a dozen. On my Userpage there is a statement which I believe translates how I feel as for any tug-of-war. I never engage myself in any discussion. I do. It would be nice of you to better what I did. Ethel thanks you :) ! Krenakarore TK
I don't generally mind, either. I normally write a lot of starts that have room for expansion. They do show up on my watchlist, though, so I come by to check and see what people are doing with them. Writing them generates a certain responsibility for maintentance. Pkeets (talk) 23:56, 12 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Agreed. You now speak like a grown-up. I guess you're conquering my heart, and respect. Cheers. Krenakarore TK 00:53, 13 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
