Talk:Ethernet over copper

I'm seeing Ethernet over Copper shortened to EoCu more than EoC. I know of at least one company that uses EoC as Ethernet over Cable.

"Additionally, central offices with EoC equipment are limited."[edit]

This statement and its source are US-centric, and not really a disadvantage of Ethernet over Copper itself. Can that be reworded or moved? I'm not sure what would be best.

This is quite outdated technology – where is it still in wide use? Was it ever? --Zac67 (talk) 19:30, 10 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
