Untitled[edit]

The article has recently been expanded, but now it reads a bit, as if it was an EWF advertisment. I propose to improve the article but I think it is not necessary to remove al of the recently added information. --NearEMPTiness (talk) 07:29, 17 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I propose to move the lemma to EWF - the European Federation for Welding, Joining and Cutting and then start the article as follows:

European-Federation-Welding-Joining-Cutting
EWF - the European Federation for Welding, Joining and Cutting

EWF - the European Federation for Welding, Joining and Cutting is an organization dedicated to education, training, qualification and certification in the field of welding and related technologies.

Just a bit like an advert, eh? Before the recent flurry of editing activity, these templates were at the top of the article:
The editors (where did you all come from at once?) seem tone-deaf to these advisory messages, and if anything, have only exacerbated these issues. By "primary sources", we mean that it reads just like it was lifted from the organisation's website. Be careful to avoid violating their copyrights. wbm1058 (talk) 01:37, 19 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

EWF[edit]

Why is the acronym EWF and not EFWJC? The acronym certainly leads one to think the WP:Common name of the organization might be European Welding Federation. – wbm1058 (talk) 01:37, 19 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
