I will take on reviewing the article. It looks fine at first glance, but I'll look at it more thoroughly. Keres🌕Luna edits! 16:00, 21 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

First comments[edit]

  • Random ref check: reference 37 supports the statement that 'Europium triisopropylocene is a brown solid that can be reacted with hydrogen peroxide to give cyclopentadiene europium peroxide', could not find it in the article. Keres🌕Luna edits! 21:09, 21 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I cannot access this source. 141Pr {contribs} 11:49, 22 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
If the source cannot be verified, it should be removed with the following statement, or another reference should be found. Keres🌕Luna edits! 16:53, 22 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Couldn't find any refs for that, so I removed it. 141Pr {contribs} 20:54, 22 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
  • 'Eu(fod)3 serves as a Lewis acid' what does fod stand for?
Made more clear what the fod stood for. 141Pr {contribs} 11:47, 22 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
  • The aspect that Europium compounds fluoresce under UV is a pretty important topic, and I don't see anywhere explaining why or at least how in the article, only mentioned briefly in the captions. This probably fails Criterion 3a, as it fails to introduce a major aspect.
I have addressed it in the lead, although I don't think it needs any further info. 141Pr {contribs} 12:35, 25 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
  • Earwig found minor plagiarism on 'Europium(III) phosphide is a semiconductor used in high power, high-frequency applications and in laser diodes.', which the statement is copied off from ref 43. Also, American elements is not a reliable source according to WP:VENDOR.
Removed sentence along with the source. 141Pr {contribs} 19:45, 22 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
  • The captions of the images are unreferenced, especially the statement that 'Europium compounds fluoresce under UV light at 395 nm and 365 nm.'
Added a reference to the caption of the top video, couldn't find refs for the reaction one. 141Pr {contribs} 12:37, 25 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Added a table, although I don't see why it should be sortable. 141Pr {contribs} 12:26, 25 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
  • The article is missing information on europium selenides, and should be added in the chalcogenides section.
Added info about other europium chalcogenides apart from sulfides. 141Pr {contribs} 12:57, 25 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Done. 141Pr {contribs} 16:01, 25 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

These comments would take a long time, I'll get started later. 141Pr {contribs} 08:30, 24 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Ok, I will put it on hold until the comments are addressed. Keres🌕Luna edits! 14:15, 24 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@Keresluna: I have addressed all comments, it didn't actually take that long. 141Pr {contribs} 16:01, 25 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Is there any information about europium pnictogenides? If not, add information about them too. Keres🌕Luna edits! 16:37, 25 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I could only find information about the nitride and phosphide, but not the arsenide, antimonide and bismuthide. Is that OK? 141Pr {contribs} 17:58, 25 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, that is okay. Keres🌕Luna edits! 19:02, 25 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Done. 141Pr {contribs} 16:42, 26 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I have added information about europium arsenides if that's okay. Keres🌕Luna edits! 21:25, 26 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, that's fine 141Pr {contribs} 06:23, 27 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
