false.

kaczynski left in 1969, according to his wikipedia entry and numerous other sources.

evans hall was not open in 1969 according to this very entry and numerous other sources.

if memory serves, his office would have been in campbell.

"Evans Hall is often referred to as one of the ugliest buildings on campus, along with Wurster Hall, ironically home of the Architecture Department."

a common remark from student tour guides on campus. it always gets a laugh, but is it wikipedia-appropriate?

"Historically, Evans Hall has been the home of many suicides, averaging just under one a year."

what time span is "historically" referring to? where does this figure come from? the page http://www.ocf.berkeley.edu/~atwu/firstcultural/berkeleyguide.html#evans lists three since 2000, by name. it appears to get its info from the daily cal website. this count agrees with my own memory.

i don't want to rewrite this, but somebody should take out the exaggeration and campus gossip. or at least make clearer what is gossip and what isn't.
