Executive order → Executive order (disambiguation) — There are only two pages on this disambiguation page titled "Executive Order". Of these, Executive order (United States) is the primary topic...it was hit 26K times last month; whereas the Tom Clancy novel got less than 20% of that and Statutory Instruments got only 398 hits (and it doesn't really belong here anyway, since its title doesn't have anything to do with executive orders). Propose Executive order redirect to the Executive order (United States), with the following hatnote:

Under "See also", I think a link to the wiki on "Rule by decree" should also be included, as both are similar in nature and effect.... i.e., 'It is now the law, because I decree it to be so'. I removed the sentence "US Presidents, furthermore, may issue an executive order or a presidential memorandum to ensure that federal courts abide by international tribunal rulings interpreting the provisions of an international treaty." It is unspupported; moreover, it is false in view of Medellín v. Texas, 552 U.S. 491 (2008).

Dab page style violations

There have been repeated attempts by one or more IP editors to modify this page by:

• removing "may" in front of "refer to:"
• moving some lines below See also

These both seems like errors to me, violations of Dab page style, but their repetition makes them seem like there is a possible dispute about something. I don't want to get into 3RR territory when the edits are not clearly vandalism. jmcgnh^{(talk) (contribs)} 08:24, 25 February 2017 (UTC)
