Merger proposal[edit]

I propose that Exotheology be merged into Potential cultural impact of extraterrestrial contact. I think that the content in the Exotheology article can easily be explained in the context of Potential cultural impact of extraterrestrial contact, and the Potential cultural impact of extraterrestrial contact article is of a reasonable size that the merging of Exotheology will not cause any problems as far as article size or undue weight is concerned. I don't see the point;

  • the target article is a bloated list already that would benefit from splitting
  • this article is not just about "potential impact" but about theological speculation that goes on now and in the past; you could say that the existence of exotheology today would reduce the theological impact of proof of extraterrestrial life to nil.

But then if you go ahead and merge this anyway, it will not be the end of the world either. --dab (𒁳) 05:21, 24 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Ellen White's belief in "Unfallen Worlds"[edit]

I'm surprised nobody here has mentioned Ellen G. White from the Adventist movement in the late 1800s who often spoke of many unfallen worlds in her writings. 2601:989:4581:D0A0:D5A3:219B:DF65:9D1B (talk) 13:21, 7 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
