This page has he same subject as: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Exterior_Insulation_Finishing_System I am not skilled enough in Wiki and not native english speaking / writing to combine the two articles. Rob de Vree (talk) 10:06, 26 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I can't get my head around this article, it is very poorly written, so much so that I cannot work out how to copywrite it into English. It has the wrong links too, I think, and I lack the understanding to correct them. I think it reads to me as if it's been lifted from a non-English source, possibly a commercial website. Also, that diagram looks very professional in comparison to the text. The author has the suffix EWI - is this a clue that it is some bizarre form of illiterate advertorial? I'll flag it up as needing cleanup etc from someone who knows something about the subject 80.176.150.217 (talk) 11:16, 13 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

EWIS vs EIFS[edit]

I agree that the external wall insulation system (EWIS) in Europe is essentially the same as the exterior insulation finishing system (EIFS) in North America. However with the differences in terminology, materials, histories and governing bodies I think it is reasonable to not merge these articles. Just my opinion.
