[Untitled][edit]

To the extent that this article is about Catholic extraordinary ministers (are there any other kind?) moving it into [1] might promote confusion. Ministers of the Eucharist are of the priestly order in the Catholic Church. The title given to the extraordinary ministers of the primary article ("of Holy Communion") are named precisely to differentiate them from the priests. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Dagtwo (talkcontribs) 22:10, 14 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Women ministers[edit]

Women can be extraordinary ministers, correct? If so I think this should be pointed out especially, given that this might seem surprising to people who know about the catholic church's position on female priests. —Preceding unsigned comment added by MathHisSci (talkcontribs) 09:54, 10 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
