Fairfield County Courthouse and jail[edit]

Some clarification is needed. There is no currently used courthouse or jail in the Fairfield Historic District located on the Old Post Road in Fairfield, CT.

The Fairfield County Courthouse mentioned in another article: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fairfield_County_Courthouse_%28Connecticut%29 is not located in Fairfield, but in Bridgeport, CT.
