"The" Family Circle[edit]

I removed a statement in this article that the magazine was known as The Family Circle until "about 1950" because the only citation was to a Pinterest board with some vintage magazine covers. But assuming it's true that the "The" used to be in the title, it would be good if a reliable secondary source could be found to say so, and it could be included in the article.

It would also be great to include more history generally. The Seven Sisters (magazines) article notes the Piggly Wiggly connection and cites the Britannica website, as I have now done here, but I'd love to know more about the background of that. I wasn't able to find anything this morning, but I'll try to keep looking and hope others will too. --EightYearBreak (talk) 17:00, 30 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
