The name is incorrect[edit]

@Doug Weller

The real name is Fasci d'Azione Rivoluzionaria as written in the sources. In italian, Fascio is singular, while Fasci is plural. The organization is composed of multiple autonomous fasci within.

I therefore propose a quick change in the title. 93.45.229.98 (talk) 13:21, 28 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Tell that to the editors of the Italian Wikipedia as you seem to know it better than they do. Doug Weller talk 15:52, 28 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Do you think Hitler was a socialist? Doug Weller talk 15:55, 28 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@Doug Weller The Istituto della Enciclopedia Italiana (lit. Institute of the Italian Encyclopedia) reports the name as: Fasci d'azione rivoluzionaria
Ref. https://www.treccani.it/enciclopedia/fascismo_%28Enciclopedia-Italiana%29/
One of the book that spread the type error "Fascio d'Azione Rivoluzionario" is actually a book titled "Hitler was a Socialist" by an American conservative.
In any case, the Italian article is a stub, and probably the error was caused by the similarity "Fascio rivoluzionario d'azione internazionalista" (in fact, in the references of the Italian article there is mistakenly the manifesto of this other group). 93.45.229.98 (talk) 18:33, 28 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Which of these sources are reliable by our criteria? [1]. A lot of them also say Hitlerwas a socialist. Doug Weller talk 18:40, 28 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Books using the title here.[2] Doug Weller talk 18:43, 28 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Google scholar[3] vs [4] which clearly supports your version. Not sure about Google books. Doug Weller talk 18:48, 28 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Do this:Wikipedia:Requested moves. I’m more or less out of here. Doug Weller talk 19:08, 28 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@Doug Weller
Okay, I make the request, but clarify further:
The membership cards of members of the "Fasci d'azione rivoluzionaria" have written on them "Fascio di azione rivoluzionaria di [City Name]" (e.g., the Fascio D 'Azione Rivoluzionario di Milano). Like what you Americans call "chapters."
Each card has on it the statute of the Fasci d'azione rivoluzionaria'; it reports:
"Art. I. Sono costituiti in Italia i Fasci d'azione rivoluzionaria."
meaning:
"Art. I. The Fasci d'azione rivoluzionaria are hereby established in Italy."
An example of the organization ID card:
https://collezionaretessere.blogspot.com/2015/02/fasci-dazione-rivoluzionaria.html
p.s. By the way, the image that should be that of the Fascio d'Azione Rivoluzionario Internazionalista is wrong on wikicommons.
A mistake probably caused by the similarity of the names. 93.45.229.98 (talk) 20:08, 28 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I doubt others would see the cards as meeting RS. Doug Weller talk 20:15, 28 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Prego:
"Una delle prime iniziative del Fascio d'azione rivoluzionaria di Milano , nato ai primi di dicembre del 1914 ... Quando poi i Fasci di azione rivoluzionaria tennero a Milano il loro primo congresso"

Fascio d'Azione RivoluzionariaFasci d'Azione Rivoluzionaria – I request the move for the reasons explained in the other discussion; I also point out that Stanley G. Payne calls precisely the organization as Fasci d’Azione Rivoluzionaria in A History of Fascism, 1914-1945. 93.45.229.98 (talk) 20:38, 28 June 2023 (UTC) — Relisting. The Night Watch (talk) 05:11, 7 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

The other Fasci movement[edit]

Now that it surfaced that this organization was called Fasci, plural, its title is confusingly similar with its 1946 revival Fasci di Azione Rivoluzionaria (better known as FAR). I think that d' is not sufficiently good disambiguator from di – is the distinction consistently applied in Italian? It.wiki does a pretty lousy job at distinguishing it:Fascio d'azione rivoluzionaria (1914) from it:Fasci di Azione Rivoluzionaria (1946). Should we stick a (1946) or (neofascist) disambiguator to the other one? No such user (talk) 11:35, 14 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
